We heard really good things about this restaurant from Lonely Planet so we decided to have dinner there. The restaurant is not oceanfront - it is about a block away. The restaurant was severely understaffed because our poor waiter was running around maintaining both the outside and inside tables - keep in mind this was high season at Punta Del Este.
It took several attempts for us to get our orders in. By the time we ordered, some of the pasta choices ran out. We ended ordering the pailla and a white fish dish. The food ended up being somewhat bland.
There may be better places to go in Punta Del Este.
