Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.
Was given an amuse bouche of crab which was nice. They had lobster specials running and had the best lobster dish I've ever had (it has taken over that spot from the one I had at Le Bernadin). It was a pan twisted lobster tail in burnt butter and poached rhubarb of all things. It just worked perfectly together.
Main was the gulf prawns - they sell these by 100gm and people should be aware this is basically I prawn so don't order too many like me!
Had their roasted pineapple dessert with lemongrass which was amazing.
My friend enjoyed their oysters and fennel and coriander encrusted tuna but found the local Sultan Ibrahim to be okay.
Was not a cheap meal - with a couple of glasses of champagne, a beer, a cocktail and tea/ coffee it was around 1800 AED but the quality was excellent and the service polished and excellent.
We enjoyed a table out on the terrace beside the water feature.
