This is a long stretch of beach very clean and well kept. A lovely jogging and cycling track runs alongside it. You can see clear water on one side and tall buildings on the side. We went in early March and it was quite chilly in the evening so we didn't swim but the kids loved running on around the beautiful beach.

It is a nice experience to see sunset while walking along the beach. There are many coffee, tea and snacks place along the walkway.

Strolled down the Corniche Bike Trail during the evening and came across the beach. There seemed to be a couple of beaches along this area like the Al Sahil and Family Beaches. The entire beach wasn't visible from the road as there were trees that lined the edges in some areas. There were also quite a few food and drink stalls on the road side of the beach. The Abu Dhabi Beach is right beside it.

We came on May 8. It was both hot (95 degrees) and the start of Ramadan. Because of this, there were no stores open selling food or drinks.

There are parts of the beach we tried to access but they said it was private. Also, when we were taking pictures on the beach, Security came and told us we could not. I found that quite interesting.

Even though it was quite hot and you cannot drink water in public, there were still a handful of people on the beach.
