My suggestion if the place it closed on a bank holiday..LOCK it from outside.
We were on a big bus tour(unlike UK, this one was terrible and they made it sound like a sales presentation for property developers).
The driver stopped at the heritage village and we got down, without any warning that it will be closed.(there is hourly bus service if you are on such tours, so we were stuck at this place)
What is more troubling was that they locked the ladies washroom too, we had to request that the lock was opened.
If you have seen the Dubai heritage village, there is no need to even try seeing this one.
Inside, namesake of agriculture section, all they had and what we saw was a cow..!!!
The only saves were a pretty sea side picture outside the washroom an a few date trees to save you from the unbearable and skin burning heat of the summer sun!
