Went here as part of a cruise tour. We stopped for 45min which was not really long enough to do it justice. Various craft shops with friendly smiling people happy to make your photo perfect. The gentleman in the sword making shop dressed my teen daughter in a headress and necklace before allowing us to take a photo of her with a large sword. Camel ride available for 10 dirham, round a paddock but good for a photo mop. Henna painting, small market with souvenirs, leather work, and glassworks. Great views over the water to Abu Dhabi town. Well worth a visit.

This cultural village has been build on th cheep, very cheep in fact. The castellated features of the Jerry built 'houses' are what you might expect the Kenyan tourist authority to build, not one of the wealthiest countries in the World. The souk is more reministant of a car boot Sale. On top of this, over rich youths insist on parading their Jet skis close to the water front of the village making a resl din. Redeming features, certainly. Local choir group of Arab men treat us to a really nice spell of communist singing accompanied by drums and Arab ladies in traditional
Dress, the highlight of the visit for sure. An unmemorable experience. -unless you are disparate to fill an hour, Give it a miss.

Was taken here as part of a half day city tour. The different types of homes are constructed here which is a good insight into desert life. Great to show children how people adapt the living in the heat and trying to keep cool. You can get your hand done with a henna design. Also there are little shops showing you all the local crafts, some of which you can try yourself.

Not the greatest range of exhibits but an interesting taster of local culture, with a variety of stalls selling local handicrafts. It's located on a spit of landing sticking out from the Abu Dhabi waterfront offering the classic view of the city across the water. We had a decent buffet lunch at the village restaurant accompanied by the terrific view - not a bad way to spend an hour or two.

It is more an attraction park than a culture and heritage village. Very commercial and at the time we visited packed with touringcar tourists. There was also such a loud music thru loudspeakers that we could not have a conversation. In the museum no explanation was given for the items displayed. We left after 1/2 hour. This attraction is not our cup of tea.
