We visited on a Friday and many of the exhibits were closed. There were a couple of gift shops open, selling the usual tacky souvenirs. I was shocked by the neglected animals. The small pens did not allow the animals to excerise properly and the donkey in particular had badly deformed feet, due to over-grown hooves. If you still make a visit, take a walk the end of the peninsular for a great view of Abu Dhabi, you may be lucky and able to sit in peace for a few minutes, but our experience was marred by the noisy jet-skis using the bay.
