Beautiful hotel, very opulent! Service could be better though at times. We had a few problems with getting the room we requested but eventually got sorted. The hotel itself is magical. Worth a visit.

The gardens are amazing, the architecture second to none.

Butler service is a treat.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Emirates Palace in September and truly enjoyed this luxurious and opulent experience.

Hotel: Really a unique and truly luxurious experience, the arrival on the palatial grounds of the hotel is an experience in itself. Set on the shoreline of Abu Dhabi's corniche, behind the hotel are many of the city's latest and most audacious architectual skyscraper marvels. The lobbies are all in marble, an air of quiet, calm and civility dominates, with uniformed valets and bellhops at the ready. We loved the smart idea of two seperate swimming pools at opposite ends of the Palace grounds: one for kids/families, one for adults only. We enjoyed the swim-up pool bar in the evening, and hammocks slung IN the pool to relax and keep cool under the hot sun. We did not get to visit the long attractive beach, which I think would be wonderful, though it should be noted that the sands are not as soft and natural as one might find in other parts of the world, due to the very calm waters of the Arabian Gulf.

Room: We chose a "Coral" room, the most basic, but paid for the "Partial Sea View" rooms which afforded a fantastic view over the sprawling lush garden grounds around the pool, with Abu Dhabi's corniche shoreline of architectual wonder skyscrapers to the right, and and the sea out to the left.

Restaurant: We really enjoyed dining at Hakkasan, a high-end internationally reputed restaurant where our Chinese bartender from Shanghai made amazing world-class cocktails at the bar while chatting with us, and then we endulged in the tasting menu. All the food was top notch, worth the money. The setting is a marvel, in an intricate maze of low-lit dark-wood lattace work seperating all the diners into intimate-toned settings and creating an air of exclusivity and lux.

Staff: The staff is trained at the highest levels to cater to the luxury experience of every guest. Our Phillipina "butler", complete in tuxedo, presented our room to us, including all functioning of the advanced lighting settings, entertainment and spacious luxurious spa bathroom in marble. When we returned from our evening at the pool and restaurant, we found two swan towel-sculptures on the bed, the room littered with red rose pettles and a hot bath drawn in the impeccably clean and luxurious oversized spa tub. (the next morning, one of the well dressed room keepers saw us leaving the room and beamed with pride asking us if we liked the towel-swans that he'd created for us. It was very charming, and we thanked him.)

Breakfast: Truly expansive array of everything you can imagine, served in a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor terrace seating overlooking the beach and sea. We chose outside, despite the sweltering heat of mid-September, and enjoyed every moment of the views down the beach, the boats, the palm trees.

Improvement suggestions:
Check-In: Was slower than expected, as we were the only guest. However, the Receptionist did take care of us professionally, gave us a great room, and arranged for several extra "wedding anniversary" touches be added to the room, at short notice; this was likely the cause for the lengthier Check-In completion.

Summary: A stay at the Emirates Palace is an amazing experience. Plan to spend much of your time in the hotel, enjoying the pool, the restaurants, the luxury; don't plan all your time in the city of Abu Dhabi; this hotel is a destination in itself. If you live in the GCC countries, be sure to check for special reduced rates, as we enjoyed! (makes it all the more likely we'll come back from Dubai for another stay in the near future)

Room Tip: We recommend the "Partial Sea View" rooms, as they not only afford views of the sea, but a...

The hotel is really over the top.we stayed unfortunatelly only for 3 nights but we are wishing allready coming back. The palace is gorgeous, clean, elegant and it is something that impress anyone even if you have allready experience in luxury hotels. But except of all this i must admit that for us the hotel was nicer at all cause of one person,Ani Gnafakis guest relations junior manager. She made us from the first till the last moment feel like home, helped us in everything. She is very proffesional and very well trained.i believe is an honour of a bussiness to have this type of employments. We really thanks her fir everything. There was nothing that she refused or that she was not tru to help us.except from that breakfast, hakkasan.shayad the afternoon tea everything is luxury and perfect.we are allready making plans for next visit and next meeting with Ani.
Thanks for all.There is no

Architectural stunning hotel. Your shoes may wear out walking around it but this a most beautiful hotel. With age it is maturing. The service has settled down and is quite exceptional. Food is excellent. Staff consistently up there with the best.
