“Stunning Building, arabian style at it's best, excellent service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

Traveled to Abu Dhabi on business and stayed at the Emirates Palace -- my only adress in Abu Dhabi from then on, the Palace is second to none.
Amazing and impressive building, really an arabian palace, where a visit is a must. Roaming the immense and endless corridors is an adventure, we can get lost...
Rooms are superb, specially the Diamond one, facing the Gulf and the pristine Palace beach, amenities are high quality and butler was really competent and polite. Sleep quality is reasonable.
Pools areas are very pleasant and environment nice.
Staff were very competent and friendly, showing the renowed arabian hospitality, specially at
reception and Palace Lounge.
Food is great, specially at the italian Restaurant. In room breakfast was superb too, good choise and outstanding service -- unlike the Palace Lounge, where breakfast was a bit poor and evening
canapés too...
Despite beeing so beautiful, so huge, so golden, so magic by night lights, the athmosfere is, however, a bit cold: we can feel a king or a queen strolling the palace, but we cannot feel at home, despite the high standard hospitality showed by the competent staff.
The Mall is just an half hour stroll, however the works around make the way a bit difficult.
Really did apreciate my stay and hope to go back to the Emirates Palace when traveling again to Abu Dhabi

Room Tip: Diamond room overlooking the sea with Palace Lounge facilities

As soon as you enter the palace, everything is "LUXE". This is a huge, real palace where evereything is gold color (including toothbrush!) and crystals are everywhere.Service is perfect. There're 2 pools areas (the east one is quieter) and a very nice beach. Rooms are classic style. it's impossible think about something missing, because you have everything you wish, including a lavish buffet breakfast and many restaurants (i love the bbq restaurant on the beach). I've never seen anything similar in any other place. It's a world itself. It's located few minutes from marina mall (the best in town). Once in a life, you have to go there to experience "classic luxury middle east style".

Staying 10 nights over Christmas was quiet, relaxing and another amazing 7* experience having stayed at Burj Al Arab last December. As expected Emirates Palace offers world class service, palatial accommodation, Anantara Spa, pristine beaches, the finest global cuisine, wines and champagne with 24 carat gold flakes.

The Security were friendly, helpful and very impressive. Our Butler Imtiaz was so attentive taking great care to ensure our stay was special. Everyday was full of pure luxurious indulgence which leaves you with memories to cherish for life.

It was like a dream...amazing experience! ! ! AbuDhabi called as"the garden of the UAE" Emirates Palace is one of the best hotels all over the world. The hole staff was perfectly organized. All of them were so polite and friendly..The restaurants used to have a big variety of international and local plates so delicious.Despite the luxury of the hole service the prices were not so expensive. You can easily spend the hole day in the hotel as you have a lot of things to do ..Strongly suggested for perfect relax!

It's all a bit much to be honest.
The sheer size.
Everything is just huge.
I strongly recommend a trip to this truly seven star hotel. The service is great, the hotel is pure luxury and for the price you be silly not to jump on it.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. The service the pools and bars were great. You could get a buggy to the water park. There is a pool bar as well. It was very clean and nothing could be better for a family experience

Stayed here to celebrate our sons 21st birthday in January 2013. On arrival we were in awe of the sheer scale of the building which is truly impressive and a perfect example of what money can buy. Check in was good but the service we received from the hotel afterwards was a little hit and miss and we did get the impression it was more about the tip that the need to provide good service. We stayed in the coral suites which were lovely but not as impressive as we had thought and we were a little surprised to find that the sound proofing was not good at all. We woken every night and morning by our neighbours using the loo, shower and bath and by the noise of their tv. It was as though they were in our room. Both pool areas are good but the family area was crowed on our first day and we were disturbed all day by overindulged children who were largely ignored by their parents and struggled to be controlled by distraught nannies. This continued pretty much outside in the corridor as kids ran up and down screaming. Granted this was a busy time of year and the hotel can not control it's clientele but we had not expected it to be noisy. The quieter pool was better and here we received small drink and ice cream which was not distributed in the other pool. We ate at the hakkasan which was lovely but the service was a little quick and didn't give us much time to savour! Butler service available but only if you ask for something specific , when we did they were obliging enough. The prices in the hotel are extortionate so be prepared to spend. We found the hotel lacked character and atmosphere particularly in the evening time when apart from eating your meal, which was quick, there was nothing else to do other than take a coffee at £10 a cup! We found the jumeriah in Etihad towers to be a little more vibrant and more reasonable. A visit to the grand mosque a must see as this is truly wonderful and breathtaking and the golf was also good. Ignore Ferrari world as it really is not worth a visit. Overall glad we stayed here and really loved Abu Dhabi, but would try a different hotel next time.
