I do like the ambience of the restaurant, very cozy with warm lighting and interior. Food was good but nothing extraordinary, especially for the price. If I remember correctly, it's around 200 dirhams for the buffet if you don't get any deals, and for that price, it was just okay, I should say. Nothing bad or special.

After runnin a busy week (season) people deserves to pampered. Summer is about to peak and Ramadan is just around the corner. The group decided to search for a good buffet in town and we heard from one friend that Cafe Palmier has been recently renovated, so there we decided to try things out.

Arriving in groups the restaurant did not waited from the outside we saw a long table already arranged, Very good anticipatory skills. The manager realizes that we are the group that booked the table and approached us to let us know that the buffet is now open. We were escorted to or table and let the dinning experience begin. The food selection is international so it would appeal to everyone, it is not a big buffet but there is enough variety for each section. The best part of the buffet is the grill station, Theres chicken, skewers, beef, and shrimp (must try) which has a rotti which you can customized the flavor, it is by far the best part of the resto. Second would be the cheese section, it is just a handful but the quality is really good. the dessert and sweets are also primed with good variety that goes well together.

Overall observation is that the food selection is well thought of, there is enough variety yet all of them taste good together, rest assured chefs are on each station who is able to arranged somethin to appeal to your taste buds. it is seldom to see such setting in an international buffet restaurant as mostly everyone tries to have a somethin from somewhere.

Staff are very nice, and are knowledgeable. they know to how to answer and works at a phase. Beverages comes on the table in a fast manner as well! (noticeable) the interior is classy and chic. motif is soothin to the eye. tables has good view of the pool and lobby/lounge. The new team will surely bring the venue on high ranks within a couple of season.

It is with our compliments to extend and post the names of the staff who completed the entire experience.
Hnin Mi, Anuj and Mabel who are very keen to service, friendly and noticeably well trained.
Chef Hem at the grill station, oh you'll just love him and his grills.
And lastly Kesher the manager who welcomed us, served, and even shared a few moments with us.

Food, Good Staff and good interior. would definitely recommend to others and our very own guest.

Venue Tip: Besides the grill, i am looking for a brand indentifier that would make the venue stand out or be entirely unique from others.

The new concept and design of restaurant was really amazing compare to before.. Service improves a lot better staff are friendly and accommodating.. only i've noticed that the hostesses shows favorites among their guest. Guests should be treated fairly. When we arrived the guest just escorted us to the table we chose without even puling our table and she went back to the guest she was talking for a long time.

The only restaurant I saw that has a bread station on the other restaurant even thou the staff are providing us bread it is much better to have the bread next to the salad or cheese in the way we can personally choose the bread that we wanted to eat.

Another observation is that they are removing the set-up which makes you feel alone..that gives me uncomfortable feeling, especially for those dinning in alone.like me.

Aside from that still I recommend Cafe Palmier

The host hotel has recently been remodeled. The transition period was less than comfortable. NOW the results are impressive. Always a good dining experience in the past, the new Cafe Palmier (and associated Wheat) is better than before! An attractive layout provides relatively private tables as well as larger group settings. The buffet offerings are equivalent or better than most 'a la carte' restaurant presentations. Every meal offers it's own variety, staples and specials for your gastronomic delight. Chefs are on hand to prepare personalized preparation of select dishes. The quality and freshness of all of the foods are exceptional, and the selection is second to none. The staff are very helpful and courteous, providing just the right amount of attention and personal space. It is difficult to restrain oneself from over-indulging in this restaurant. I recommend using a small plate to obtain a tiny selection of each delicious item. The number of available items may fill you up with even that limitation. If not, return for another portion of the things you liked best! I can't recommend the FRESHNESS and 'homemade' quality of the food enough, and I do a lot of home cooking.
