Checked out this place after reading a review in timeout Abu Dhabi.
The place is fairly easy to find. This place caters to locals and is not a touristy place. Personally I always take this as a good sign.
On arrival the waitress bought over a huge basket of vegetable, huge corgettes, giant tomato etc. Not actually sure what one was supposed to do with it and me and the wife were left baffled. We had not been provided any knife or fork at this point.
Ordered a halumi, baba ghaoush and humus for starter. The portions for each was huge. A selection of bread was provided all very tasty.
For the main we both ordered kebabs. Again they were huge and my chicken kebab was absolutely fantastic.
At this point another couple joined us at the next table. on receipt of similar basket of vegetables they simply tuked in. The dude just broke off the huge corgette and started eating it raw.
I was full with the huge starters to even contemplate starting of the vegetable basket.
I would heartily recommend this restaurant for local authantic fare. The price was reasonable.
