We read about this place in Time Out as an alternative iftar option and we were very pleased. It's a more modern take on traditional dishes and overall lighter options. The curry parsnip soup and beet root hummus were really tasty. Beef ribs and vegetable curry were also good. And the ummali was excellent! Not sure what is on their regular menu but if he ummali ever is, get it.
Only drawback is that it's located inside a furniture store but all the furniture pieces within the cafe do give it a trendy feel (and they're for sale!). But a walk around the store after eating is also fun - they have some interesting resting pieces and signage.
