“Tour was ok. Driver/Guide not really....”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

We did the half day safari, we thought if you're next to a desert, then do a desert tour. We were picketd up at our hotel by our driver/guide, who hasn't even said hi or assalam allaikum ( sorry for misspelling that, probably ). And then we drove for 40 minutes to a gaz station, the driver went outside, again his mouth was shut, and dissappeared, so we also left all the jeep, to walk a bit around. Then we continued into the desert and we arrived at a farm, ok we thought what are we doing here, the drvier went out, and made us going to the left by shaking his head only to the left, no explanations again, so ok we had to find out by our self that we arrived at a camel farm, and so we could take some pictures, later other jeeps were arriving too, some were the same companie and some others too. And most of them had a driver with explanations. Ok then we went dune bashing, which was great, and here the only good point for our driver, he knew how do drive in sand. So we had a fun. And then later we arrived at a camp, with free food and drinks ( exept alcohol ), food was not bad at all, bbq. And there was a belly dancing show, and free henna tatoos, and free shisha. Nice experience in the desert. Ok not authentic beduine style but ok for tourists. And then after 9 p.m the drive back to the city. In other words the tour was ok, but the company should hire drivers without communication problems, tourists want information and not an unfriendly driver!!!

“Fabulous half-day safari”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

This half-day adventure was one of the highlights of our last month in the Gulf. Dune bashing (45 minutes-1hr) was intense but exciting - not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach! The drivers are truly amazing and manoeuvre the 4WDs with such skill and ease (ours said he'd been doing it almost daily for 10 years). There are a number of breaks along the way to catch your breath and take photos. The camel corral was a lovely change of pace and a great photo-op.

On arrival at the camp, there are many exciting activities to enjoy (all included in the price) - camel rides, ATVs, dune boarding, thobes and abayas to try on as well as a brilliant henna artist - all with extremely helpful staff who speak English very well. Dinner is delicious with plenty of choice for picky eaters (penne and tomato sauce) and those who'd like to be adventurous as well.

The belly dancing, sheesha and "lights out" for star gazing after dinner were the perfect way to end a brilliant afternoon/evening. We were safely back at our hotel by 9:45pm.

All in all, a wonderful adventure and an amazing value. Highly recommended.

“Highlight of trip!”
Reviewed May 5, 2012

We loved this, it made our stay in Abu dhabi worth it.
4WD through Giant sand dunes was amazing, the drivers are very talented. We were one of 15 4WD all driving in a line, it made a fantastic photo!

We arrived at the camp and got a drink, watched the Falcons then got a Henna Tatto.
(All included in price)
Dinner was traditional cuisine and there was plenty of it. After dinner we watched a traditional Belly Dancer do a performance.

It was such a great experience a must if your traveling to Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

“Mad driver! Otherwise nice trip.”
Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

We had a young kid behind the wheel and he was driving like a maniac! Probably had to show of little? Specially when getting back from the dunes. I know the driving culture is a bit mad here but there was no point at all. He was driving 140km/h in the city and constantly doing sudden stops. Drove even to forbidden direction couple times. It may be ok if you drive by yourself but if you have 6 passengers with you who are all scared like hell, then its NOT OK.

Dune-driving was great and camels were cool. Hope you get another driver!!

“Great experience”
Reviewed April 14, 2012

Collected at the hotel. Drive towards Al Ain. Meet a convoy and first to a camel station to pat a few heads. Then en convoy across the dunes - bashing. In a 4x4. 6 people. I had a front seat this time. Wow. The drivers are soo skilled and do it said it's the easiest thing ever. The dunes are scary and it often looks like we are going to topple over the edge or tip sideways down a dune but we don't. The drivers even make the 4x4s slide sideways shown the dunes and sand bashes against us. Cool. I even saw families with young toddlers on this - but .. The drivers even provide sick bags LOL. So don't eat before the tour. On the tour we get to stop and run about a bit and after to an oasis to BBQ and camel ride or sand skiing. Henna tattoos free too and belly dancing and the men do a traditonal dance too. Food was great and included in the price. A must really.
