This is a new restaurant in town. at the famous Jumeirah hotel in abu Dhabi. The staff at the entrance of the hotel takes very good care of the clients, very helpful. The view is nice (63rd floor) but not breathtaking. The food is nice, but not exceptionnal. we tasted the crab and the striploin was good. The wine list is quite impressive. Very good french spanish potuguese wines if you can afford you can have Petrus red wine or cheval blanc. The most expensive one is"Domeni Conti" for 73000dhs ( 14500 euros). the staff is very patient. The sommelier Yohan very professional. good advisor. We tasted a good spanish red wine
La Garriga for 440dhs (90 euros) i paid 1400dhs for 2. ( 280 euros) you must add 10% servive charge and 6% tourism fees for information. Normal fees for all the restaurants in hotels of Abu Dhabi. After dinner, you are sent an sms to thank you for coming..

It's a new place so you can expect some initial imperfections and I don't want to be unkind but....starting with making a booking being quite hard work (not because they were busy, just because they didn't seem sure of what they were doing), my experience continued downhill. It is of course as glamorous as you'd expect but for some reason the layout is uncomfortable with semi-open chef station behind the tables that are close to the windows, so there is not much space for serving staff to move behind you.
The staff (apart from one nice waitress whose personality had not been completely erased during training) were stiff and odd, the service was so fussy that I gave up on having a conversation as we were constantly interrupted with unnecessary inquiries and tableware changes. Perhaps because of this, there was zero ambiance and I was itching to get the meal over and done with half way through our starter. The menu itself was limited and not especially appealing, and the food turned out to be mediocre.
I guess if you're someone who gets very excited about views it would be worth a visit but otherwise I think they need to start again with this restaurant.

Great views, great design and technology (Ipad for wine list, which gives you all about the wine). Service akward, no ambiance.
