Expensive but you get what you pay for. Everything in this hotel checks out; spacious, comfy rooms, great service The waiter-guest ratio must be very high.

My stay was 'all inclusive', so I had the 3 meals at the main restaurant called 'Ole'.. Continental cuisine with a good setting, you can have your meal indoors or take it on the terrace.

If you're on business, like most travelers I guess, you're in luck. They have at least 3 meeting rooms, a great ball room, free and fast Wi-Fi all over.

The hotel is 25-30 minute drive from downtown; 40 minutes from airport and 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi mall, in case you need to buy something in a hurry.
They also have scheduled shuttle service to the more fashionable Marina mall.
I would stay there again if I could

Room Tip: No special room tips. I stayed at the 2nd floor and was quite fine. With hotels like these, all room...

This is the first time I stay at a St-Regis property. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed. it's not to say that I'm unhappy with the St.-Regis Saadiyat, it's rather that I do not keep an unforgettable souvenir of it.
The property is huge, as are most of the hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. But it lacks the warm welcome of - let's say - the O&O Residence and Spa in Dubai. I arrived from an early flight at 8:00 am but had to wait till 1:30 pm to get my room. I assume the hotel is full but anyway, this is the first time it happened to me since 10 years of extensive travel. I felt that the reception staff did not pay enough attention and do all what they can to arrange for an available room at the soonest.
Room is spacious and comfortable, with a large open bathroom, which is nice. But it has no view, just the wall and the roof of another building. I'd rather book for an "ocean view" room, but none was available. The hotel has 4 restaurants, I have tried 3 of them, the foods they serve are correct but none is exceptional. The hotel has 2 pool areas, one for adults only, one for families. I have used only the family pool; it's fine, with direct access to the beach and sympathetic beach staff. Beach is large, with white powder sand and the sea is surprisingly beautiful, turquoise blue. Unfortunately, the water is rather cold in February, so most of people prefer heated pools. I did not test the spa, the spa menu is just not appealing to me.
To summarize, this was a nice and relaxing stay but not enough tasteful to make me come back when I'll visit again Abu Dhabi.

Room Tip: Choose Ocean view room.

The sea view is breathtaking, with well manicured lawns and the beautiful aquamarine waters of the Arabian Gulf. It is a resort hotel, away from the busy City Centers but within the cultural areas.

The room is very well appointed, with generous balcony space. One small snag that I faced was that the a/c panel was not very user friendly and so the temperature in my room stayed between 23-25C (one time it tripped up to 40C). I found the pillows too hard for my preference.

The staff are friendly, efficient and chatty, except inside the Olea Restaurant, where it felt like they struggled for a bit, particularly during breakfast service, where it took time for any of the staff to notice empty cups and plates.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view. Due to the layout of the building, some rooms look out to a nice blank wall. Whi...

Family holiday with a bit of golf thrown in. Hotel was very welcome and the staff attended to very thing from organizing the golf game to a family dinner. Enjoyed the spa treatment and the drink on the terrace.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are very nice with flowers and fruit basket to greet. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and stylish. The staff attends to your every need, both inside the hotel and also pool and beachside. The beach is beautiful with blue, blue water and white sand and rolling surf.

Room Tip: We were near the pool and beach side, handy to outside activities. Try for the ocean view side of t...

Just got back from a week at the St Regis, beautiful hotel & lovely rooms but it hasnt got the same attention to detail as other hotels ive stayed in in UAE. They are only minor issues but issues all the same.

In the past our butler service has always been the same person through our stay ( apart from when they had a day off ). Here we had a different one each time we used the service. A couple of times our order was wrong !! There were 3 adults staying in the room but there were only ever 2 lots of chocolates left & 2 pairs of slippers left out on the turn down service.

I also find it very annoying that people are allowed to get a sun lounger then disappear off for ages therefore taking up a bed at busy times.

The hotel is also a taxi ride from anywhere & we didnt find out till the last day that there was a free shuttle service to one of the Malls so If you want a very relaxing holiday away from the hustle & bustle then I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A very pleasant surprise from all the hustle and road construction of Dubai. It's like a hidden gem or an oasis in the desert. The resort was simply fantastic and we loved the rooms, ocean front view, the superb golf course, the spa and the entire staff; especially the butler service. No matter what time it was the cuppercino was available. We really enjoyed talking to all the staff and finding out where they came from...it was like another vacation--learning about their homes/country. This was our second time to stay at a St. Regis property and this one by far was over the top. With the Louve and Gutenberg projects being scheduled to be built in the next couple of years...we are already planning to return to Abu Dhabi and naturally stay at this superb SPG property. Mahalo to the entire staff at the St. Regis UAE.

Room Tip: Lobby level, ocean front view is ideal and convenient!
