We've just spent 3 nights at this hotel and wish we could go back again tomorrow ! I won't add much to what has been said already in previous reviews because the Jumeirah at Etihad towers hotel is indeed very stylish and glamorous and grand and there wasn't a single think I disliked. When I booked I specifically asked a room with a see view and sure enough I got one ( and it was a VIEW). From the moment we stepped in the impressive lobby we were welcomed with a smile and an aperitif and needless to say check in was super quick . A very charming lady showed us to our room and explained how everything worked ,from electrically operated curtains to the lightning in room etc. I had lost my phone charger and in seconds I was lent one for the duration of my stay. From the chocolates on our bedside tables, to the fresh rose in the bathroom and the basked of fresh fruits left on our room on our last day we felt totally pampered . A special praise to ALL the staff as they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly (THUMBS UP to the bellmen and housekeeping staff, you're doing a great job!)
All in all it was THE perfect stay and we can't wait to return !
P.s. We tried 3 out of the 7 or more restaurant and must say they were all very good but the LI BEIRUT was truly FANTASTIC!

We stayed at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers on the 2014 New Year Eve. It is a great new hotel with excellent facilities and restaurants. The location is superb with a beautiful sea view. But what made our trip really fabulous and unforgettable was the assistance of the hotel's staff, more specifically, Mr. Syed Abbas Hussain ( Visa officer ). He took a fantastic care of us and assisted in receiving our UAE visa within just 2(!) days, arranging a truly beautiful sea view room decorated with flowers and special gifts for our wedding anniversary, giving us excellent advises and tips for the sightseeing in Abu Dabi and making the reservations to the best restaurants of the hotel, including the top restaurant for the New Year Eve and generally making every day of our stay a really special and lovely. We travel with my husband a lot but this time we were really impressed with the level of services we received from Mr.Syed and his colleagues.
Also 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel is the Marina Mall with lots of shops and restaurants.
Taxis in Abu Dabi are good, safe and relatively cheap.

Room Tip: higher floors' rooms have beautiful view

The hotel is very well equipped with all sorts of high tech gizmos in the room and everywhere
Apart from being mono color in the lobby , the hotel has a great recipe of success : Location is superb with an exquisite sea view overseeing the emirates palace and many Royal Palaces by the sea. It has a shopping mall that houses top brands and its got 3 different restaurants ranking on the top of Abudhabi. the sky bar is another major attraction in this first class piece of real estate.

the staff were mainly forthcoming friendly and well trained except for a sleepy receptionist (I arrived early morning)

Room Tip: Pick A sea view room

We stated here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years. The hotel is very nice. Our room had amazing views, a comfy bed, and a fantastic shower.

Breakfast buffet in the Rosewater restaurant is expensive, but extensive. I especially liked that you could go to the omelette counter, tell them what you wanted and they would deliver it to you instead of having to wait. My only complaint here was that they really start to remove all the food at 11am sharp. One morning we slept in a bit and arrived around 10:40. We discovered that almost everything was being taken away when we went back for seconds at 11:05.

We also ate at Li Beirut, the Lebanese restaurant. The service and the food was great. There was a small problem with our reservation (which I will get to next) but the restaurant rectified the situation.

…and now our only real complaint: the concierge. On our first full morning we paid the concierge a visit in order to make a dinner reservation at Li Beirut as well as to book a desert safari. All seemed fine and under control. Our dinner reservation was to be at 8:30 that evening, and the following day at 3:30 was our desert safari. We even received a dinner confirmation note in our room. However, when we arrived at the restaurant that evening they couldn't find our reservation. A manager stepped in and said that he would show us to our table, then proceeded to try to give us the worst table in the entire place. When we said we would prefer a different table he said that all the other tables were reserved. We reminded him that we too had a reservation! We got a new table and the remainder of the evening was perfect. Once we got back to the room, I carefully examined the reservation confirmation and discovered the concierge made it for the wrong day (not sure how he thought we were going to do both the desert safari and dinner on the same night, since you don't return from the desert safari until almost 10, but…).

Next day, we get a call in the room at 3:05pm saying that our driver for the desert safari was waiting for us. We were surprised since we were told 3:30, but we gathered our things and went downstairs. Turns out, the pick-up time was really 2:45 and everyone (3 SUV's full of people) were waiting for us. We got the last 2 seats in all the vehicles and naturally it was the tiny third seat in a Nissan. The third seat is made for small children, not a 43 year old grown man. My husband is a tall German and he had to sit sideways as his legs were too long. Had we been properly informed of the time, we might have had an opportunity to grab a better seat.

Apart from the two slip-ups that the concierge made, it was a nice stay. The desert safari was a highlight of the trip and we would definitely recommend doing it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate that you have pointed out the positive aspects of your stay and that you are giving us a very good rating even though you have faced some issues. We have investigated the points that you mentioned and there has indeed been a mistake from our colleague who has booked the restaurant on the 30th instead of the 29th. We truly apologize for this inconvenience and we are pleased to learn that you enjoyed your dinner in Li Beirut. We extend further apologies for the wrongly advised pick-up time for your desert safari, our regular pick-up time is 3pm. Depending on the scheduling and the traffic, the driver might have reached the hotel earlier after picking up guests from other hotels. We truly appreciate you recommending Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and we are looking forward to welcoming you back.

This hotel has the wow factor and our two bed two bath apartment was amazing with excellent kitchen/living facilities. The service was excellent although over the new year period the service by the pool was slow. There was also a shortage of sunbeds because it was so busy and as the beach is small it was to overcrowded. The view from the beach was disappointing(to the left a boat yard and right a building site)
All the restaurants and bars were faultless apart from the fact that we hated the smoking in the bars(you can't get away from it). There was nothing here for the children(age 11 and 13)apart from pool.
Overall we had a lovely holiday though.
