After some lack lustre visits, although admittedly for the lunchtime special, the evening visit proved a success. Half a duck between two provided not only traditional pancakes but a deep fried crispy spiced main course dish from the remnants. The wonton soup was fabulous and the tofu dish and seasonal vegetables with garlic impressed this carnivore. For once in a Chinese restaurant even the desserts proved enjoyable. The non ending supply of jasmine tea was truly refreshing.
The staff were truly attentive without being overly cloying.
Clearly better for dinner than lunch.
