We went early in the morning, 7AM, late May. Finished by 9 and the heat was just beginning to rise, so the timing worked out well. The trip is brief, about 45 minutes out, short stop, 45 minutes back, down a "branch" of the mangrove, saw many fish, crabs, and some birds. The guide was informative, but did not always share information unless asked, so don't be shy to ask questions unless you'd prefer a quiet tour. For second-time renters you can rent the kayak for the day and go at your own pace. Also check out the trip departing from Yas.
