I came for the sushi night. The food is excellent. I want to really thank Thin for her great service. I was sitting and watching her running around and answering phone reservations. Extremely polite and professional to every customers. Strong recommend.

I have always been a fan of cho gao since 2014.... love the ambience, the choice of good food and drinks but one constant thing that makes me come back again each time is the lovely staff. They have been warm friendly and very accommodating to guests needs since day 1. That's y I always choose to celebrate some very special days of my life hea. Supervisor Thin , Nicole and Sonai are ur best staff,treasure them I say..... The chicken dumplings hea are to die for, mie goreng and tom yum soup are some of my favourites ..... thank u guys

Brunches are a very popular mode of whiling away Friday afternoons in UAE and Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi offers a great way to indulge by giving the customers to take in both their restaurants in one go. You have a choice of sitting in Cho Gao- pan Asian cuisine- at the lower level or Spaccanapoli -Italian cuisine- in upper level or you could choose to start in one place and move up or down to the other. The waiting staff will shift your drinks between the levels.

The novelty in this brunch is that instead of having all cuisine in one place (like in most of the brunch offerings), you have choices limited to two cuisines- so you don't feel overwhelmed. There is a sushi station offering fantastic choices and cheese platter upstairs at Spaccanapoli is really varied and with some great choices. Both these are enough to set this brunch apart from others. However, rest assured that there are enough choices in both sections to satisfy you for a lazy , slow brunch outing of 3 hours or more. Also a good way of keeping your appetite going is to move up the stairs to Italian restaurant - the stair climbing in between gives you the satisfaction of burning a few calories while you are stacking up serious calories by indulging in rich and tasty food.

Overall the food quality was better than most brunch offerings with several standout dishes in both sections. The waiting staff gives you efficient and quick service - a bit too eager sometimes clearing plates and glasses too fast. The manager is a real superman and makes sure to visit all the tables to enquire about food and service- his high level of involvement is perhaps what maintains the excellent service .

Although reservations are not mandatory, be warned that this brunch is quite popular and hence it would be better to book your table. They have both soft drinks package and wine/liquor package. If you have an Entertainer coupon of 2 for 1, this brunch is a real steal @ 100dhs per person- 200 dhs for soft drinks package per person otherwise ( you get only soft drinks package in Entertainer coupon. You have the choice of upgrading to liquor package for an extra 100dhs per person).
