We had a private tour of this hotel which included the ballrooms and one of the luxury suites. What a lovely place. Gilded but not gaudy. Ornate but tasteful. If you can stay here I am sure you would not be disappointed.

Emirates provides a really breath taking viewing into sheer grandeur as only the Arabs can do it!
We spent about an hour and half walking around and taking everything in, we didn't bother with afternoon tea as we felt it was a little overpriced and we didn't like that it was positioned in the centre of the hotel and everybody is inclined to stand around looking in at the people eating their cakes, id personally prefer a more private experience, but the palace is definitely worth visiting!

Def. worth going and visit that place. It has many restaurants , great view.
Note: wear something smart casual, no flip flops or shorts ! My husband had to wear jeans .

Ok you just got to go into this place, have a stroll around and be amazed, (with your mouth closed please) and treat yourself to a coffee & cake and watch how the other half live. It really is a palace inside, do not be afraid to enter in your tatty shorts, it is worth it. If you have the cash for a coffee go for it.
