I have tried Megu three times and have given up on expecting the quality to be present.
The views are fabulous, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the decorations are tasteful, and the fresh OJ is nice
The sushi is of poor quality, the staff is surprisingly inattentive for an establishment at/on The Pearl, and the pricing is ridiculously excessive given the poor service and less than acceptable quality/preparation of meals.
The Itamae were not friendly or talkative--unusual to experience silence or no conversation attempt at the sushi bar by the Itamae.
The quality of the sashimi and rolls is non-existent--especially for the price charged.
The fresh juice was nice, but it comes in a very narrow short glass and is quickly consumed and the staff does not quickly replenish/refill the beverage.
When asking for the bill/cheque, the wait time was almost as long as the time to order, prepare, and consume the meal.
For an establishment located at The Pearl, the hours of operation are not typical as the closing hour is very early--in comparison to other neighboring restaurants.
I did not enjoy Megu, I have not recommended Megu, and I will not return to Megu.
