I've got a recommendation for this restaurant from a friend. As I like to discover new styles of cuisine, this one was like a dream of 1001 night. Service staff very friendly, well dressed and very professional in her explication of the menu. The presentation of the dishes is just great and all the taylor made plates made this meal to something very special.
I fully recommend this restaurant to everyone who want to discover Turkish cuisine as it's best!!!

We were recommended to visit this place by many people and heard about the same from facebook and magazine advertisements. We were the first guests to arrived. We were greeted nicely and escorted to our table by the lady in a beautiful long dress in turquoise colour, they all looked very elegant. After seated, the staff came with a welcome drink served on a small shots glass with a very nice tray presentation. Agora uses Ipad as their menu. All the dishes look so delicious as the visuals are very tempting, causes us confusion on what to order. Finally, we made the decision to order a plater of cold mezzeh, with Lamb shank and Iskander Kebab as the main course. The Hummus is to die for! The taste is so different than any hummus we had ever tried. its tasted like a bit smokey-ish. And finally came the main course...the lamb...oh the lamb!!! On my first bite, it sent me to a land of forgotten of everyone else but only the lamb!!! It is soo tender, and the mash aubergine is so tasty that i have to asked for an additional portion of it! That just how good it is!! The Iskander Kebab, the signature dish of the restaurant was served on a beautiful tailor made plate with the name Agora engraved on its cover. It just beautiful. We are not a dessert person, so we didn't order any of it. We would definitely come back and will definitely recommend this place to all our friends.

“Best Turkish restaurant in Doha”
Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

We were among the first guests in this new restaurant, and we just loved it. It will be our preferred destination, when ever we visit Doha. The culinary experience was just amazing (best ever Hommus, creamy and light), the service up to fine dining standard, the atmosphere very warm and inviting. Don't forget to ask for a Turkish coffee at the end of your meal, it is served in such an elegant way. We can only recommend it to everyone!
