We booked IDAM, fully aware they didn't serve alcohol. With an open mind we ventured into the Museum of Islamic Arts, Doha. Wow, was our first impression of the setting and views. The food was amazing and the selection of juices served gave the food an unexpected extra dimension, far beyond that of wine. Now I am a real wine buff and I truly love nothing more than a fine claret, but as I said, the food and juice combinations worked really well. I guess that's what you would expect from the best chef in the world with some 23 Michelin stars. The restaurant would benefit from some classical music in background to relax the atmosphere a little and certainly some of the locals turning up very late demanding service is a little unsavoury, but overall a really great place to eat and a deserving winner of Doha's best restaurant. Well done team.
