Back again and this time, we were in with our next door neighbours. Somehow, we ended up on the same table again, which is a good thing!

Staff were once again excellent, great selection of foods from both the Il Teatro and Elements sides. Had my usual overdose of Crispy Duck Pancakes to start the day off, followed by numerous selections of meat dishes.

Glasses kept topped up, cocktails and beer and great company, made for an excellent afternoon.

Very poor expereince. Starting from the restaurant atmosphere, furnitues and carpet are very old. The entire menu is over priced, and the value for money is not that good. What was served was good but not special as expected for a supposed fine dining Italian restaurant ; service is average since i may opinion too freindly something with the clientele ; music is not mathing with the decor. First and last for us!!!

I visited Il Teatro because I heard it's one of the best Italian restaurants in Doha, and I was very disappointed.

The gnocchi was ok and the spinach and ricotta ravioli was over cooked. The panna cotta was really nice though.

But I would not recommend it for anyone to visit the restaurant.

There was some very tasty food - a smaller selection than some brunches but I think this meant a higher quality of the food. Drink service was a little slow to start with but after the first half hour or so my husband was getting his beer replenished without having to ask. I however had to ask for every Diet Coke refill.
There was a large party of us (approx 30 guests) ranging from 1-years-old to those in their 50s and 60s. Everyone seemed very happy and relaxed throughout the afternoon. Kids came back with face paints, hot dogs and desserts for a starters! A recommended brunch if you're looking to spend upwards of QR350 per adult.

Friday brunch time again, another great selection of food and the staff once again friendly and helpful.

(Grand)Parents were over for a 10 day break from the snowy east coast of scotland and they had not been to brunch here before. The youngest daughter was also celebrating her 9th birthday and they presented her with a lovely plate full of sugar desserts which I think just finished her off nicely!

The brunch wines and bubbles are perfect and so are the cocktails, well, the wife appeared to be managing to put them somewhere at least :-)

The daughter was also well taken by the noodle counter and the chef wearing the GoPro camera on his head and streaming her noodles being made to a small screen at the front of the counter.

I am a big fan of the crispy duck......nom nom nom.....and always look forward to starting with a few of these.

'til the next time!
