the restaurant is ok, the atmosphere is amazing, but the service is poor considering the place and location.

they need to workout more on the staff communications with the customers and more motivation to the quick service.

Went there with work colleagues. Two of us ordered the lamb skewers at QR79 apiece. They brought them on a single plate (why?!) and all that came with them was bread, a quarter of an onion and a grilled tomato.Just not good enough. They also forgot a side of fries and had to be reminded. Not good. came to QR182 for 3 mains, 2 fries and 3 soft drinks. There are better places in the Souq to eat.

Located in Souq Waqif. Neat and clean. Taste and service is very good. Must visit when you visit Doha.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Souk Waqif and looks good from the outside. On the inside, ground floor looked Ok with dim lighting and loud syrian music with a guy dancing/spinning around in a traditional outfit. It was too loud and too smokey to sit and enjoy a dinner there.

On the second floor or terrace, well, the tables were not clean and the shape of the seating arrangements were not worthy of such an expensive restaurant.

Food quality was average and similar to what you find in the cheapest shami resturants. Nothing special at all.

Service is poor and waiters' attitude is poorer.

Paid QAR 200 for a meal that should've cost me 40 somewhere else.

Would I repeat? I don't think so.

Pretty sure Damasca is in Syria and therefor serves Syrian food.... This is a decent Syrian restaurant located in the Souq area serving decent Syrian dishes and Shisha... If around the Souq its worth a visit for a meal or just a coffee and a smoke. Decent service and friendly staff, probably one of the better restaurants in the Souq...
