Visited in the after sunset hours of Ramadan season. The aquapark is located like an oasis amidst the desert, in the outskirts of Doha city. For a min we thought we were lost since there are no signboards to get there, but google maps to the rescue!
The setup of Aquapark I felt was pretty much like the Water World in Brisbane. The entry ticket per person is abt 130 QAR but we got an awesome deal for 2 people in 130 QAR. Such offers are mostly common in the Ramadan season.
The park has awesome rides - some are free and some are paid. The space boat ride is the most thrilling of all and will cost you an additional 35QAR (or more in non-ramadan times i'm guessing). The slides could have long queues in the waiting which is a bit annoying. There are many reliable life guards too, to help out in case anybody happens to "somewhat drown" in the final splash of the slides (and that's like 90cm deep).
The wavepool is decently spacious and has some really awesome waves. Totally satisfied with it.
There's a slow flowing river in the center of the park well decorated with light effects and intermittent waterfalls. Feels incredible to keep floating and flowing in this little river.
The kids' section is pirate themed and looks like funn. There are broad slides that end in real shallow pools.
There is food available inside the premises, but cannot say much on it since we were stuffed with our dinner before going as outside food is not permitted. The shower rooms, changing rooms and washrooms are pretty clean and well-kept. There are abt 10 changing rooms and can accommodate only person at a time, dimly lit.
Overall a fun-filled evening get-away to beat this crazy heat. Equally recommended for friends and family outing. Do give it a shot. Its worth it.
