If you would like to take only a walk around you're fine. If you want to ride a bike, roller blade, kick a ball, fly a kite... or anything but walk/jog. You're not allowed. Largest "sports" park in Doha, and you can't do anything. Security will find you...

So this park is very very nice and it is been improved during these last few years, but some of the rules are really really odd. There is always a security gard who will approch you to tell you strange things like you cannot sit in certain areas, or you cannot lay to sleep if you want to nap.....of course these rules are written NOWHERE.

Before entering Villagio, we spent an afternoon in Aspire Park. I call it "Unshaded Greenland" because it has very beautiful trees devoid of shades but everything around is green. All the more reason that you must not go there on a hot sunny day. Two jogging tracks, one in loose sand and the other with soft-black top run parallel all along the length of the park where you will cherish morning and evening walks. Aspire Tower is visible from every nook & corner both at day and night. Many free birds can be seen around or inside the lake and the fountains are mostly welcoming in full swing, specially at night. There are a few restaurants and nearing Villagio, you will find an artistically painted walls in green, depicting coolness of the park. Lush Grassy soft lawns of the courts make the atmosphere soothing and relaxing. There is only one bathroom in an extreme corner, little cumbersome to find. If you happen to be in Villagio, do not miss going to the park too.

My place where I stay is exactly next to this place and I can say that I am lucky having the privilege of living next to this park :) It's not only promoting wellness and health but also the family bonding.

This place is famous for its family outings. The park covers a very large area. An ideal spot for picnics and games. The park also houses some football as well as other sport game courts. Its a great place to work out and also play other out door games with friends.
