3 days spent there, I had conference and got invitation. The hotel supported transportation in time, the breakfast was luxury. Actually I liked the fog which comes suddenly and cover the whole area, you will not be able to see the towers opposite side, keep your camera with you. Outside gardens is fantastic. The beverages in the ref. are very expensive, and this is expected in this hotel. Nothing negative can be mentioned regarding the cleanness, and the service as well as hospitality.

We stayed over for 2 nights and totally loved it. We had chosen a standard room with sea view and balcony and Ritz lived up to our expectations.
The room was very spacious, bathroom made of white marble and overall standard a lot higher than the average in Doha. Not least the bed was extremely comfortable.
Despite the heat, we hung out quite a bit by the pool - by far the best pool of all hotels in Doha. It is not a boring blue square, it is built like an artificial lagoon, with rocks and trees all around. They also have a 'boring blue square' with lanes indoor for those that want to swim more 'seriously'. :-)
Inside the spa is nearly the same as any other hotel spa in Doha, except that as usual Ritz-Carlton is here to raise the bar. Saunas, jacuzzi, steam bath, all the biggest I have ever seen in Doha.
Breakfast is served at the Lagoon in Doha which has one of the best reputation for its buffet. The breakfast buffet is certainly not the exception to the rule! Dangerously outrageous. :-)

We will definitely return again and surely recommend.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. I did not like it that much. I thought it is one thing that will not go as scheduled but apprently it was on of those bad stays.
1- Limousine was not arranged as scheduled 2 weeks ago.
Arrived to the hotel and no one was at the door to assist in opening the door or at least the luggage!
2- Room had dust in the corners.
3- AC was either too humid or too cold.
4- Ramadan tent is decorated, not a fan of the colors selected. (ornage, green and gold.)
5- Food selection was average, and some plates were served cold.
6- Check out procedure took almost forever. (Around 30 mins) and i almost missed my flight.
7- Pool side was a good experience.
8- Service was not as expected from a ritz carlton to serve like ladies and gents!! I could read the attitude body language!
Not sure if i will go back there...

The hotel was really nice, first time I stay in a hotel in Doha, and first time with Ritz Carilton; I will definitely stay again.

The room was so specious I could not believe, being in Europe lately made me forget how big a room can be in GCC :D

The most important aspect was; everything mentioned on the website about the hotel, the facilities and even the pictures, was real; usually you check a hotel online and it’s marvelous once you are there its totally different than what was described and you are disappointed before even checking in . It wasn't the case with Ritz, honesty and transparency are important to me and they delivered much more…

Summer is not the right time to visit Doha, it can be very hot and humid, best time is Oct to April

Sightseeing: there isn't much to see in Doha, it's a small place, everything is close by, just rent a car or take a taxi, you will be able to see the whole city.
you can visit:
- Museum of Islamic Art
- If you like old authentic places, visit Souk Wakef, they have spice shops, little coffee shops and restaurants, very nice experience.
- Pearl Island man made island has outdoor sea view restaurants
- Villagio mall, if you are into shopping

Room Tip: Ask for full sea view room, avoid partial

I stayed here whilst working in Doha and really enjoyed my stay. Amazing facilities & large luxury rooms. I fell very ill whilst in the country due to work and the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful calling out a doctor & making sure I received all the help possible. Amazing pool, amazing rooms & and amazing food. Much better than the nearby Marriott.

We have had an excellent experience in enjoying the hospitality of this hotel in the Arabian Peninsula. Excellent hide away place to relax and enjoy the goodness of great continental food. The SPA is superb too.

Room Tip: Higher floors are good to have panoramic view

The Ritz Carlton Doha represents one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had, the room we stayed in was classy, clean and spacious. the staff were all professionals and never gave a "no" for an answer.

We liked our stay there so much that we didn't bother to leave the hotel for 2 days. the pool is great, never crowded, and it has a nice jacuzzi tub.

I would recommend this to everyone visiting Doha in a heartbeat.
