I would give it 5 stars, but I don't have a yardstick vs. other restaurants in Doha since it was the only place I dined at. Three times, to be exact, at the Souq location. And each time I had the fata (their spelling) with hummous and yogurt. One time I added the meat option with a side order of falafels. Now, I'm not an adventurous eater, especially overseas, and I had no idea what to expect first time. They really should display photos, like sushi joints do. Anyway, I was pleasantly shocked by my big bowl of warmed yogurt, diced nuts, chick peas and crunchy pita bread, topped with olive oil (?) and herbs. This will power you for the whole day. One small gripe. I had a proper spoon te first time, but plastic spoons the other times and their sharp curvature hurt my upper lip. Super value beginning at 16 QAR, about $4.50.
