The Museum of Islamic Art is well worth a visit. The museum has some remarkable artwork, dating back many centuries. The exhibits are displayed in a very minimalistic way which shows each piece in its own right. The lighting is also extremely well designed to bring to life each piece. The highlight of the visit was the building itself. I won't try and describe the building because to so do wouldn't do it justice. If you are visiting Doha I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful museum.

The location and architecture are excellent! Great views and a lovely spot for a coffee. The displays were well presented, but I found the artifacts to be a bit repetitive. A few more bowls, jugs and saucers than I needed to see. As far as free tourist attractions go, its worth a visit, but I likely wouldnt go more than once.

Amazing location above the sea with a great view on West Bay. Architecture and quality of construction are outstanding. A very interesting collection of Islamic art. Definitely worth a visit. Bring your sweater as the place is chilly and as women need to be covered...
