Beautiful building to look at both inside and out. I thought the art was average. I particularly liked the grounds and the cafe area by the water's edge particularly on a sunny day, watching the towers of west bay...

The most beautiful building from Qatar.
I was at a reception organized by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation given for TEDxChange organizers. The lines, materials and colors are proofing the great value of the architect and the beneficiary’s love for Islamic art. Is a place where you feel different than any other place in Qatar.

A wonderful museum with some beautiful display pieces, all set in a wonderful building. A great place to spend an afternoon.

The food in the café was also great.

How refreshing - a wealthy Mid East capital with a genuine cultural heart! This Museum is well thought out in that its design is iconic yet very functional, the exhibitions very well laid out and tastefully selected and the descriptions well thought out and very approachable. What a nice change from indoor ski hills and shopping!

Don't miss this when in Doha. Lovely place. One of the most staggering elements is the giant staircase, it's giant light and the cavernous roof above. The view through the window from the cafe is also beautiful. And then there is the art...
