First time we had the chance to visit an Islamic museum of Art, and what a fantastic experience. For such a great museum, we were surprised that there is NO admission fees, and on top of that you get an audio tour for free as well.

Suggestion, visit it in 2 days, as there is really a lot to see... Loved the Iranian history part on the 3rd floor.

Our first visit to this fabulous collection of Islamic treasures did not disappoint. The building itself is worthy of recognition, since it has both a stunning design and tactile walls of marble and rippled stone which you will wish to touch. The double curved staircases really make you feel you are on the stairway to heaven.
The audio guide and commentary is the best I have used and simple to operate.
The artifacts have been displayed very well and are best examples, carefully chosen.
The cafe, with reasonably priced, artfully presented food and soft beverages shows the hand of celebrity chef Alain Ducasse.
