“A must see while in Doha”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Designed by reknowed architect I.M. Pei, this is a world class museum housing Islamic artifacts-rugs, glass, jewelry, documents from Iran, Syria, Egypt, India, Spain-all areas of the Islamic world are represented..

Very very interesting-free. And you can get a headset audio video for free too. Many pieces are numbered and you listen and get a lot of info..

“Wonderful World of Art!”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

The permanent collection of the museum is awesome! The Mughal gallery and the Mahabharata in Arabic are of special interest to all Indians. The view of the sea from the museum is also breath-taking! The architecture resembles an abaya-clad lady!
