The Souq Waqif is fascinating to walk around - it sells everything from wheelbarrows to falcons! Unlike some souqs, you cn walk around without being harassed by the traders. The Souq appears to have been refurbished at some point in the recent past but still has an authentic feel. Some travellers might not like seeing the caged animals in the pet section of the Souq. It is worth seeing the camels that stay next to the Souq. The restaurants and cafes in the Souq are fine but nothing exceptional.
