Good place to stay for business with reasonable price, the hotel provides good breakfast.
The hotel is about 15-20 km to city center and that's why it's in quit place.
recommended for 2-3 nights stay.

The service staff could have been better. The hotel i always full i guess and i felt they have less staff than required. I may have to be back in the same hotel every month, but would have preferred a different hotel to stay in Doha.

Usually stay in the Ramada Doha but had to stay in the Holiday Villa
I stayed on the executive floor ( 11 ) where access to the Prima lounge is included, the prima lounge was never open during the 7 days I stayed.so there is nothing special about the executive floors.
In the room, the mini bar was totally empty, and I could not make calls from the room phone before making a deposit with reception.( eleven floors down )
Whenever I ordered room service or ate in one of the hotel restaurants,I was treated like a visitor and asked how I was going to pay!
Worst " buisiness class" hotel I have ever stayed in and would definitely not recommend to anyone.
Two small bottles of water are provided in the room per dayand not in the mini bar so quite warm ,( it was 47 degrees C when I was there )
A large bottle of water is charged at 14 QR but a mini market round the corner charges less than 2 QR.
I am using the cabled internet in the room but no indication of charges for this.
The pool is situated in the middle of a circle of high rise apartments with the hotel in the middle, very cramped area and usually shaded from the sun by the surrounding, very close buildings.

Room Tip: Book another hotel

Cracking hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Good lighting, clean, fresh and modern appearance of all the public areas. I had a smoking room (yay! still available in the Middle East) as I'm a smoker, so you accept the slightly embedded fug of cigarrettes, but the rooms are well cleaned and serviced to a high standard and it's really not an issue. A colleague had a non-smoking room and that was as fresh as a daisy. For the second half of my trip, I moved from the hotel proper to one of the serviced apartments. I could only fault these on one thing. We had three of us in a three-room apartment and the only internet connection was a single network port in the lounge area. A cheap wireless access point sorted that problem! Internet speed and reliability was exceptional.

Breakfast buffet was excellent, coffee was fresh and tasty and all necessary facilities and services were to a high standard. I won't complain about the lack of a bar...to be expected in a lot of hotels in Qatar. If you want a beer, get a cheap cab over to the Ramada or Sheraton...no worries.

There is some construction work in progress on the ground floor of the apartment section - they are building a few shops and concessions, but no big deal.
The sun is over the pool area between 10 and 1 during the day, so make it a lunchtime swim if you wish to sunbathe!

Just get out on your floor, or in the lobby.....every member of staff from the Concierge to the Room Maids always says Good Morning or Good Evening. Incredibly polite and make you feel very welcome. All in all, pretty much everything you could need for a relaxing and easy stay. Only five minutes from the airport too, which is handy if you arrive at an odd time. A very good hotel, with excellent sleep quality.

My stay was 5 days. The room is very clean with double beds and a plazma TV and all needed equipment but it is not spacious. The breakfast was acceptable. The lobby was pleasant having a view on the swimming pool. The hotel is 10 min by taxi from souk el waguef and 15 min from the perla and City Center mall. Comparing to the price it is a very good hotel. I recommend it.

I stayed only 10 hours as an airport transit visitor, so didn't use most of the facilities, but the shuttle service from/to the airport was very good and only took about 15 minutes or less. The staff was efficient and helpful, and the room was very nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. It was a good value for the money.

On one hand, Holiday Villa hotel is centrally located, convenient, and good value for money. On the other hand, the hotel is depressing; feels like dull with no great places to dine or have a drink (i.e. Islamic Hotel). The service is a bit awkward and lazy. On my second night, a water pipe just exploded in the roof of room and water started flowing like a river where I had to run into the corridor. Staff came after a long period of time and I had an upgrade. I'd rather stay another place my next visit to Doha.
