All streets and ways will lead you to Muscat's Corniche. Take your time and stroll around. Totally beautiful and safe, it is there you'll mostly feel the Omani spirit. Old buildings and the entrance for Muttrah Souq. Big ocean liners and typical dhows float side by side at Muscat's port nearby. The visit should be made at early evening, when you'll also enjoy the beautiful sunset at Muscat (and it is not so hot anymore). Restaurants will make your delight with the authentic arabic mezze: the selection of delicious small dishes served in the Middle East as appetizers: white cheese, melon, yogurt, aubergine, artichokes, squids, cucumber, hot pastes and the always unforgettable hummus (a spread of smashed chickpeas), all served with the traditional pita bread. Enjoy.
