Authentic Lebanese food, like the one we eat at home, which is almost unique. All of this for a very good value.

Staff very friendly and funny, traditional food, but not clean at all!!! food is only regular... good location though if you want to eat something before having a beer in Gemmayze...

Having friends who are local always helps when it comes to reccomendations. We asked our friend for somewhere cheap and quick for lunch and this place did not disappoint. The surroundings are probably worse than a typical greasy spoon in the UK but the food was fantastic, especially if you take the advice from the 'Welcome!' man who hosts and I suspect owns the cafe. If you can shut out the decor and try not to look too closely at how clean things are you will get the warmest welcome and have a great meal here. I highly recommend it.

sometimes the cook really messes food up and other times he couldnt have done it better. so le chef is tricky, ask charbel what he recommends as he usually has insight on what went wrong in the kitchen. it's always a pleasure to drop in there for a cheap lunch, reminds me of days when i used to ditch class to go to this very unknown little neighborhood with pretty old houses called gemmayzeh
