“Electro atmosphere, you like it or you hate it!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

I have heard about this place because it is an underground place with an open roof. Yes it uncommun but it doesn't blow your mind. I found the place very dark, you can't really see a thing. Mind the little cube if you don't want to bump into its!
And it is not for all the public, if you don't like electro music don't go there you are going to hate it. But if you like it, then that is the place. The atmosphere is what you can expect from an underground electro party.
From my side, I enjoyed it because it is my thing.

“Average age Young, beats all the same”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

We went there and it was a cool place to check out, but the music was one tempo all night.
I love house and dub and had been told this was the place to get to. After we got in we bought a bottle of vodka to get a table right on the dance floor so we could take in the ambience, people were up and dancing but as I said the tempo didn't change, but hey the KID's inside had fun.
just so you know $20 entrance pp, $160 bottle of Vodka + 3 mixers

“Nice club, great party vibe”
Reviewed April 16, 2012

We had only really tasted the bar scene during our first month in Beirut, and were excited when we heard that Josh Wink would play one of the major nightclubs. Finally an opportunity to hit the dance floor proper! We arrived at 3 am without a reservation, and although the place was pretty packed the bouncers decided to have mercy on us.

The first thing that hits you when you enter the doors at the end of the stairs is how small the place is. Some would call it unimpressive. I’d rather say intimate and cozy. Of course you have to mention the roof. During the night they open it regularly which keeps the temperature at a reasonable level, and when they open it permanently during the morning hours it gives the place a very special atmosphere.

If you don’t have a table reservation, the space you have to move around and dance is very limited though, and people tend to dance more around their allotted table space than on a proper dance floor. I guess this is how it’s done here in Beirut, but for someone who’s used to clubs where a communal dance floor is the focal point of the venue this can be a bit confusing.

Prices are high, but fairly standard for top end clubs. Basic bubbly (Moet) is roughly $200 w/tip, drinks around $20. The service and security can only be described as competent and friendly but firm. The bouncers really are huge, but they seem to genuinely strive to provide a better club experience for everyone rather than to randomly harass people.

The music of course depends on when you visit, but the crowd seemed to be up for it and the closing hours were awesome thanks to more space to move around, more music orientated clientele and of course the open air setting (the retractable roof really is a huge plus).

All in all B018 is a very nice club. Not sure if I’d return for a regular night, however I hope to catch another big name or two in the months we have left in the city.

“Totally original experience”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

One of the best clubs in the region.... great atmosphere with the whole underground experience. The roof opens to a star studded sky at the late hours of night .... and club stays open till 7 or 8 in the morning ... great progressive house & trance music ... and great crowd ...
It could be a little difficult to get in (as with all of beirut clubs) if its crowded and u dont have a reservation ... so to be on the safe side just book a table if you're a group.
