Its trendsetting décor - designed by Architect Issam Barhouch - is seamlessly and flawlessly integrated into a restored historic building located on 752 Gouraud St. The visual surroundings are enhanced by the unique selection of music and presents connaisseurs with a most satisfying sensory experience found nowhere else in the region. The menu of Mediterranean, Asian and Peruvian fusion, designed by Chef Maroun Chedid, sets Gilt apart from other restaurants of its caliber. Each signature menu item is a perfect balance of color, texture and flavor intended to make each mouthful an elevated gastronomic event.Gilt’s subtle, metamorphic nature confirms its position as the go-to place for all those seeking an experience unlike any other and ensures that one will return to witness this transformation time and time again. The exuberance of the space, the cultural integration, the food, drink and functional comfort rapidly cements Gilt’s reputation among Beirut’s trendsetters.

“Exquisite flavors!”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

Have heard so much about Gilt and have been wanting to go there for a while - but let me tell you it's worth the wait!
As i walked in,I did not expect that i would come across such a beautifully designed place. You cannot miss the perfection in the details; starting from the vaulted ceiling, the suspended custom made lights, the 3 dimensional wood walls, the Visitors Sculptures (they are sittingon the table next to the DJ section :) loved them) ...

As we sat at the bar, I was triggered to try the food. Well let me tell you that i was amazed by the combination of plates on the menu - it's an assortment of cosmopolitan plates ranging from italian, lebanese, mexican and french cuisine. One good thing is that each ordered whatever he feels like, so everyone was satisfied - All types of cuisines were there! We started with ordering some appetizers, then went straight off to the main courses. We had the Burrata Salad ( a must try, it has some truffle oil my favorite!), the calamari salad, the shrimp carpaccio and the fig birds(delicious)! Then we ordered the Steak Tartare, the Mexican Chicken plate, and the Sea Bass! To top all those up, the waiter recommended we try their new Truffle Dip! this is a must try and a highly recomended one if you're a fan of truffles.

We shared most of the plates so i had to taste every single one of them and until this day i am still craving those flavors. Exquisite!
It has been a while i haven't felt such a satisfaction walking out of a restaurant in town.
I reserved again this week to try the rest and im looking forward to it!

“The ultimate hangout for older youngsters”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

Visited Gilt several times for Lunch and Dinner. A consistent excellent quality of food and service, and at night a vibrant and relaxed hang out for older youngsters with great music. If you come to Beirut this is most definitely one of the places you should not miss.

“Very nice place!”
Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

The food is very good, and the drinks are amazing! You'll find it quite expensive but the atmosphere is great, it's always full and the music is very nice so it should be worth it to spend a night with friends there for dinner and drinks !

I remember the burger wasn't bad and the quinoa salad was delicious!

“Indulging your senses even for Lunch!!”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

Been to Gilt several times already for Dinner & Drinks, and let me congratulate them for the consistency of the food and the service. It was not until last week that i discovered that Gilt opens as of noon and serves lunch... For once, i did not feel "Guilty" ordering their delicious calamari salad, Steak Tartar, Truffle Risotto and the mouth watering Banana Pie!
