Description: Kampai is a Japanese sushi restaurant whose name means "cheers" in the mother tongue. Though most guests seek out Kampai for its deliriously delicious sushi, the traditional Japanese cooking (you know, the hot stuff!) Is also noteworthy. Don't miss the siu mai and gyoza dumplings-a few of these melt-in-your-mouth savory bundles, stuffed with your choice of shrimp, fresh crab, chicken, wagyu, or shiitake, will sufficiently whet your appetite for the subsequent course. Here, we recommend the Kampai Maksushi, an assembly of tender scallop wrapped in a lightly-fried panko crust and topped with grilled salmon. Perfection.

Kampai is one of my favorite japenese restaurants in beirut. The noodles and rice dishes are delicious. Sushi is tasty and fresh.

Beirut has a serious lack of authentic Japanese food. Kampai comes closest in its selection and taste.

The variety of fish is better than most sushi restaurants in this city, and they have a selection of Japanese cuisine dishes. yes, it's a bit on the pricey side but there's good value in the dishes.

It's a bit noisy, probably because of the metal lighting fixtures. But I didn't find it annoying. The service is excellent.

Try their Fire Kampai Roll!

Great sushi, kind service, good wines, beautiful and relaxing place in the center of Beirut. What do you want more? If you love japanese food and you are looking for a calm, pleasant and charming place, this is the right restaurant. You will enjoy Zaituna bay view and the availability of all the staff. We have been there two times in 3 days. And we will return.
Now Kampai is hosted in "blu port beirut", but service and quality is still there. Really recommended.
