“Good for Runners”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

If you like morning jogs like I do, i'd recommend running on the Corniche early in the morning before it gets crowded.

“Pleasent experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

Beirut has what most other middle east countries don't have - a beautiful opening to the Mediterranean. I like to think everything in Beirut should be judged in accordance with what its been through as a city.

The corniche is a pleasant area. Parts of it are decrepit and parts far more attractive. There is a lack of real investment and interest in what could otherwise become a real hot spot for the city. Should you visit it? Yes of course but do not expect the world. I love it anyway.

“Take a stroll”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

Don't go out of your way for this one - if you're there and in the area, take a stroll along the corniche. As we were there in February there wasn't much happening and the wind was pretty strong.

“The Corniche - Beirut by the sea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

What impress you the msot when driving along the Corniche is the amazing amount of cars (old and new, by the way) that are running after each other and the massive traffic jams that are created at certain moments (during peak hours, preferably don't go there if you don't like to waste your time). The corniche is extending its arms from North to South, all along the beach and this deserves to pass by there, for sure.
