The local reviews were exciting and couldn't wait to visit. We went for lunch, their lunch menu is value for money at 45$ for a three course meal. We had the tuna tartare and the carpaccio for starters, filet Rossini for mains (perfectly rare with a deliciously cooked foie gras on top. The mash with roast garlic is addictive. I would have it as a meal in itself anytime. The creme brulee with a hint of rosemary with a delicate finale to a beautiful lunch.
We were offered two glasses of a champagne cocktail with grapefruit juice - refreshing but pricey.
The waiters and the service were just perfect, I even had Jad who attended our table offer to clean my eyeglasses!
The setting, the interior design and the bar are worth the trip. Cro Magnon ticked all the elements of a first class restaurant. I will definitely be going back
