Had dinner with a group of friends at Em Sharif during my first visit to Beirut. What a way to be introduced to the amazing food of this city! I’ve eaten at some great places around the world and this is one of my new favorites. For Westerners that are used to having a quick meal, and then skipping out, I really encourage you to just relax, sit at a table for hours savoring the flavors of each dish — savoring the time with friends in an experience you won’t forget.

The ambiance and food is just perfect!Start with the Tabule and the sidings never come to an end.They just continue serving, everything they serve is excellent...Visit!

To say dinner here is an assault on the senses is an understatement. The sheer amount of food is almost unfathomable. In fact, it’s impossible to finish everything you are served! Every conceivable Lebanese specialty makes an appearance from salads, dips (mezze) and grilled meats.

The interior is wonderfully Arabesque, with some clever preservation of the original building design in the ceiling pieced together and propped up with a modern structure. Service is impeccable as you would expect of such a fine establishment and the dinner is more of an experience than just eating out.

At around 10:30pm a 3 piece band take to one of the corners of the restaurant and play local acoustic versions (oud) of Arabic hit songs.

Definitely worth making time to visit during your stay in Beirut

Great energy and vibe to this restaurant. We had only vegetarian food. The choice was sufficient and very good too. Highly recommend it.

It’s the best restaurant specially for dinner , great food, delicious desert and good atmosphere. It’s a little bit expensive but love this place and highly recommended
