We heard about em sharif through friends and were longing to try their dishes. We initially booked at Em Sharif the restaurant rather than the cafe but then had to cancel to some work commitments and were then told about this cafe by the hotel staff who had recommend this to us.
The Resturant is one an elegant street lined up along a number of fancy restaurants and by far this was the most vibrant of all.
We ordered Lebanese Mezzas and all were good as expected and one main dish which also tasted good but nothing extra ordinary. The service was excellent thanks to a friendly watery named Suleiman who was friendly but at the same time maintained his professionalism.
Good food and a restaurant that should be visited while in Beirut.
PS the Sheesha was not that great but was there mostly for food rather than sheesha

I love em sherif , it is the refined lebanese with a twist ! The tables , colors everything is different at Em Sherif . The food is really tasty , you have to try everything from the small manakish ending up with the sweets specially the Oum Ali and their yummi Tamriyye . Must visit place when you are in town
