1 of a range of restaurants in a new "trendy" area of Beirut within 5 mins of Phonecia Hotel - most of the restaurants smart, classy and rather similar. This one is different. I believe owned by a top Chef from Fachradine in Picadilly London. It offers all the traditional Lebanese Mezze..... - but all served slightly differently, great Modern presentation - very tasty and clever. Local wine list amazing - with a Maitre D who knows his local wines and regions very well indeed. If totally traditional is your thing - then this possibly not for you, but if you like good service, excellent lebanese food, great wine list, all slightly quirky - this is a MUST. Best Lebanese food I have had in a long time. (Eaten mainly in UK I will admit)
