We stayed for 3 nights. The room was very big and very nice decorated. We had very colorful wall with a taxi figure on it.
Location is just great. We walked to everywhere from the hotel. Rue 78 on Hamra Street is very nice to enjoy a drink.
It will not be easy to sleep windows open since there is lot of noise coming from the street. But I slept like babies after closing the window. The bed was very very comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice, everything was there.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
In conclusion I will definitely stay there if I come back !

Nice clean rooms, all needed amenities. Modern and trendy. Location is fantastic and staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast was standard, nothing great but nothing bad. Would stay here again. I thought the price was a bit expensive but compared to other hotels in the area it's standard. Only problem was the airport pickup. Had to wait 40 minutes for the driver to come and then still had to pay the $27.

Been back to this hotel late March 2013 - booked directly by email. Surprised to receive an upgrade for the second time; the suite had a large terrace - very nice when you are a smoker. Check-in done in a couple of minutes. The suite was clean and quiet; TV with 140 something channels, including French channels and RAI 1 (Italian), lots of movie channels too. Excellent wi-fi connection (I use Skype to call home). Breakfast good as usual ( I normally have some labné, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, with tea or nescafe, all of which available at all times). Staff very helpful with luggage and transport.
One suggestion: have a scale in the hotel for guests to weigh their luggage. I had filled my suitcase with sweets and local products, and had to re-arrange my suitcases at the airport to avoid excess charges.
Will definitely come back.

Perfectly located in one of the busiest streets in Hamra, 35 rooms in a cozy little hotel with a lovely staff. I had organized a trip with 14 people to Beirut and all stayed at the hotel. Mostly everyone got upgrades, the staff bent backwards to welcome everyone and attend to everyone's need. Price is affordable. Breakfast is good. Internet is free. They now have double glazed windows which means you can't hear all the commotion outside. The rooms are spacious, some even have big terraces too! And if you're in a big group, you can book a 2 bedroom apartment. You are a 3 min walk away from pubs, restaurants, fashion stores, banks etc.
All my guests loved it. I would definitely be back.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade. It comes with a living area.

..or in this case a hotel by its website.

The hotel's website is impressive and highlights the quirky decor with some excellent bright photos that give a boutique feel that the hotel seems to be aiming for. While there are some nice design features, overall we were disappointed due to the overall state of our room - quite small with a dark 'dingy' bathroom. Some of the common areas were badly maintained.

The location is very good and the majority of staff were friendly and helpful.

Not a bad choice, just not as good as the website might suggest.

Pros:

- Good location - just off Hamra street and a few doors up from a great baklava bakery
- close to 'barbar' restaurant
- friendly staff (one notable exception during our stay)
- reasonable value

Cons:
- having to get daily wi-fi codes for each device
- cleanliness/appearance of corridors / carpets & the single very small lift
- dark, dilapidated bathroom
- small cramped room
- breakfast could be improved

It is located near to Hamra street which contains several shops and restaurants, it is also very close to barbar restaurants which offers all kinds of food, drinks and icecream.
The hotel in general was perfect with its stylish, amazing drawings, clean rooms, and a good service, and the most important thing that the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful we used to ask them any question we want and they helped us to konw what good places to go in Bierut. The breakfast is also good and contains sevral kinds of food.
In addition to free WIFI , which is considered an important thing for most people.
overall it is a comfortable, nice hotel :) ..

THE PERFECT LOCATION!!!! 1 minute walking distance from Hamra street, the busiest most living area of Beirut, there are restaurants, bars, shops, everything u need, and u can easily find a taxi there. and just next to the hotel there is THE famous Barbar restaurant, that stays open 24/7 and offers a WIDE variety of food and drinks at very low prices so u can satisfy your hunger at any hour.
The rooms are clean (and cleaned everyday), well equipped, very stylish. the internet works fine, the staff is friendly and helpful. the hotel rates are affordable, specially when compared to the same level of hotels over Beirut.

Room Tip: ask for one room with a bar, they are at the same rate but spacier
