Description: Al Falamanki is a wonderfully bucolic and traditional Lebanese cafe located on a 25,000 sq ft piece of land in the heart of Beirut. Its doors are open 24/7 and feature a beautiful chicha garden in a typical Lebanese village setting.

While Al Falamanki is delicious and has a great atmosphere, it is very overpriced. A modest breakfast for two cost us $50USD. (THis was after decising that $22USD pp for breakfast buffet at the hotel was overpriced).

Falamankis is without a doubt my favourite place in Beirut to enjoy a glass of great local wine, chilled almaza or arak with an arguileh and mezze. The garden is a little oasis and being open for 24 hours makes this a great place no matter what the occasion.

Horrible food, horrible service and horrible prices... this over priced restaurant has nothing to offer, except its interior design which is rather confusing, filled with rugs and coffee pots...

Once you are entering the Cafe, you are amused by all the Ferrari cars, Lambos, Bugatti, Aston Martin , and all the other luxury cars parked out there.

Essential decoration, making the Lebanese Heritage more modern.

I didn't really taste the food. Argeeli (Shisha) was good, the atmosphere was quite nice, with old Arabic oriental music.

I wouldn't go there again though, because personally I don't like the "rich posers" atmosphere. Especially if you go after 12 am, there will be the high class prostitutes, trying to get hooked with Saudi Arabian/Kuwaiti/Qatari people in the restaurant.

It's my favorite place to relax and have a nice sheesha and hot drink. It is a place where you can see all types of people, open 24/7. Whenever you don't know where to go, just visit Al Falamanki.
