“Excellent food”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

The food at Al Balad is excellent and the place in downtown is nice and cosy. It also has a more spacious branch in Jounieh.

“Delicious food and lovely Staff”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

The family and I had the chance to visit Roaster Dinner in Al Hamra Street and since it the food and service were fantastic we have chosen to go to the same restaurant while we were at the City mall where we find everything is in the same quality and the service is nice.

“Delicious”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

A friend that lives in Beyrouth recommended that I try this restaurant. I am very happy he made the recommendation, as the food was delicious. The fattoush salad was the perfect starter (and I really want to know what goes into the salad dressing! so delicious!!) and some spicy hummus. The mixed grill for two was satisfying and delicious. Washed down with a beer and post-meal espressos, couldn't ask for a better meal. The restaurant was not busy, but we also sat down late (around 3pm) and downtown Beyrouth was not generally busy. Definitely add this to your list.
