After photographing pigeon rocks, I started chatting with a local couple there who recommended I go to Dbaibo for dinner because the food is better than the rest of the overpriced western cafes on El Raouche. When traveling, I always listen to locals recommendations & I try to avoid western/American restaurants like a plague so I walked to Dbaido & ordered a cocktail juice as starter, followed by kofta khachkhach kabobs. The cocktail was perfect for the humid evening & the kabobs were nicely flavored and succulent. I also ordered an apple hookah after & enjoyed smoking it with the perfect view of pigeon rocks to my right. It was a splendid evening night out in Beirut & I recommend Dbaibo for anyone looking for great kabobs.
