Not every day one is allowed to touch, sit or even walk on art. The Mirror House is a place to see, that is for sure. You will get told the reason why she started the mosaics and you will love to listen to her stories with a cinnamon tea in your hand. The mirror mosaics are everywhere, walls, ceiling, floor, doors, seating arrangements, tables, kitchen sink, downstairs, stairs, even in the elevator. Upstairs is another world, as she put it. Artwork from her late husband, other artists and of herself is there to see. Apart from her mosaics in mirrors, she does also sculptures. These are built for a use. Candle holder, table lamp, all sorts of uses. If you like it, some of the exhibitions are even for sale. The tour is also children friendly, feel free to take the whole family.

We went there last night and I was really amazed. So much hard work has been put into this place. Replacing walls with broken mirrors and mosaic mirrors. It is a must see if you are visiting Kuwait. You need to call and make an appointment but well worth it to see this place.

Amazing mosaic art made of mirrors. Madam Lidia is great, welcoming and so talented for making her house of mirror. She is cool and very artistic. Her and her late husband's artworks must be visit in Kuwait. It was so interesting knowing the story of each mirror designed and stick all over plus the recycling, invasion time and her love story :).. My favorite part is the stairs!.. It is great to pass a couple of hours to know more about Kuwait old times. It is always cool to take you back in 1960's. Your 2 hours is really worth.. Please do not forget to call for appointment.
