“beautiful set of palaces, lots of interesting things in each”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

the golestan palace is a beautiful set of buildings from the safavid/qajar era and that alone makes it worth while to visit and then there's the added bonus of each building housing an interesting collection. there's painting from "kamal-ol-molk" and old photos of qajar era.
if you have time, then try the little booth in the garden where you put on qajar clothes and take photos, it's fun!

“Great place to visit”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

It is a great complex of several small palaces which are very different from other places in tehran. I really loved it and would like to visit it again.
